Underwater Distributed Profiling Array Data Acquisition System

Built with lightweight modular inductive cable array, this system eliminates the single-point limitation of traditional ocean monitoring equipment. It supports free combination of TD, CTD, hydrophone and other hydrological/acoustic sensors without extra modification on main unit, cables, power and communication links, with customizable sensor quantity and spacing. Compatible with ship-towed survey, fixed offshore platform, moored buoy and special carriers like ROV/AUV, it enables stable 4–6 knot underway measurement or months-long unattended monitoring for ocean internal wave research, polar acoustic detection and marine engineering surveys.

It comes with a full surface control assembly including GNSS synchronizer, power adapter and USB-RS232 data cable, matched with exclusive all-in-one data software. The software supports adjustable sampling intervals (1s–1h), microsecond multi-device clock synchronization, real-time visualization, data QC, standard format export and satellite/4G remote alarm. Standard locking buckles and counterweights are adopted underwater, while low-power hardware ensures long-term subsea stability, delivering a one-stop package of array hardware and supporting software.

Multiple validated offshore delivery projects prove its reliable performance in polar expeditions, ocean internal wave observation and coastal fixed monitoring. High-density vertical profiling accurately records ocean dynamics such as thermoclines and underwater acoustic fields, with consistent high-precision data recognized by research institutes and marine engineering clients. Compared with single underwater sensors, it greatly improves data integrity and operational efficiency for large-area surveys and long-term fixed-site profiling.
