UNAS Underwater Noise Analyzer
The UNAS Underwater Noise Analyzer is a real-time system for the analysis and transmission of underwater noise. Building upon core strengths in low power consumption and low intrinsic noise, it supports dual operational modes: autonomous recording and real-time online transmission. Featuring a compact and lightweight design, the device can be deployed on buoys, seafloor platforms, or mobile observation platforms. It is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery providing an autonomous endurance of ≥48 hours; alternatively, it can be powered by the host platform for long-term, continuous online monitoring, transmitting real-time noise data and spectral information via Ethernet or RS485 interfaces.
Multiple units can leverage the host platform’s clock to facilitate distributed, synchronized observations with a synchronization accuracy of better than 1 μs. The system is widely applied in fields such as marine noise online monitoring, acoustic tracking of marine mammals, and underwater engineering noise assessment, and is available in versions tailored for both coastal and deep-sea environments.
