Drifting Data Buoy system was developed (DMDB) was developed by FRANKSTAR to monitor wave, temperature–salinity, underwater acoustic, and air–sea interface monitoring. By using high-precision sensors and multi-channel acquisition technology, the systems enable reliable multi-parameter observations from the surface to hundreds of meter depth, supporting both drifting and fixed deployments.
Wave Elfs and Drifting Wind Monitor Buoy can operate in both drifting and mooring method for stable, long-term wave measurements, with data transmitted in real time via Satellite, GSM, HF and other communication options.
